I definitely have an affinity for soup making. In culinary school we spent an entire rotation making soups, stocks & sauces. When I interned and worked at a farm to table restaurant after culinary school, I definitely refined those skills even further. Yes, I have always had an aptitude for flavour, but I have had many "ah ha" moments when cooking and eating in my career that have helped me to fine tune my skills. I don't think we ever stop learning, and I always look forward to seeing how my food will evolve as I continue to cook and explore. Soups and stews are a big part of my diet. I find them to be such a great way to make meal time easier during the work week plus, you can pack lots of nutrition into a one pot meal! I want food to be nourishing, but also incredibly delicious, and that is what motivates me to keep cooking and sharing!
